The project initially was conceived as an art project that would show what is normally thrown away by humanity or materials that are simply found in nature, but in reality, this trash is still useful. My primary purpose is to attract the veiwers senses by having them explore the surface of the painting, only to have them discover that it all came from the garbage or nature. My secondary purpose is to engage the viewer in learning about the environmental issues associated with contamination and nature.
